We build, own, and operate passive telecom infrastructure, delivering services to mobile network operators. Operating in 6 African markets, we have recently expanded our reach to 4 new markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.
Overview:
As a SHEQ Advisor reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation and operation of SHEQ initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
Operational Delivery:
- Provide input in developing internal policies and processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Manage risk through comprehensive risk assessments and implement change to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct regular inspections of sites and offices to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures.
- Address and report non-conformances, enhancing performance and quality.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate SHEQ reporting, data collection, and document control.
- Facilitate the certification of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
- Report on SHEQ performance and recommend improvement strategies.
- Support the development and delivery of SHEQ training.
- Conduct investigations and audits, providing recommendations for corrective and preventive action.
Requirements for the Role:
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent)
- IRCA Approved Lead Auditor Training (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of SHEQ experience in Maintenance and/or Construction
- Experience in a matrix-style organization, influencing partner and contracted organizations
