Role Purpose:
As a Warehouse Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to actively coordinate warehouse operations for Seed and Crop Protection products, ensuring sustainable practices and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with warehouse and distribution leadership to ensure timely servicing of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Execute daily plans, oversee equipment operation, and coordinate stock picking for distribution.
- Maintain proper stock control to minimize write-offs due to redundancy or damage through effective stock rotation and handling.
- Prepare materials to prevent product loss and business interruptions.
- Support warehouse workers in quality management and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs and standards.
- Uphold health and safety instructions, PPE usage, and good housekeeping practices.
- Coordinate incident reporting and investigations.
- Conduct monthly inventory control and cycle counts, following SOPs.
- Participate in auxiliary warehouse activities such as handling expired stocks, labeling, complaints handling, and waste management.
- Contribute to budget preparation and expense control.
- Participate in performance evaluations and succession planning.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- 5 years of experience in Distribution & Warehousing.
- Proficiency in computer literacy with SAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of Seed and Agri-input chemicals is advantageous.
