Role Purpose


The Assistant Manager - Procurement is responsible for executing Sourcing Support and Contracts Administration within WNS’ contracted scope of work. The role involves day-to-day processing responsibilities, adhering to Performance Measurement dimensions and achieving specific targets, including a monthly accuracy score of 99.5% for individual processing tasks. Key tasks include Pre-RFX Support, Ariba trainings for Client Users, Tender Bulletin assistance, Inoxico/SRV checks, LPS and E-Auctions for CMAC and Client auctions, SCOC follow-ups, and monthly report publishing, among other tasks requested by the Client Sourcing Consultant/Lead.


Performance Measurement Dimensions (BAU criteria):

  • Achieve a monthly accuracy score of 99.5% for all individual processing tasks.
  • Meet monthly TAT score of 100% for individual processing.
  • Ensure zero instances of repeat processing error (identical error type) during a rolling quarter.
  • Maintain not more than 1 escalation during a rolling quarter.


Additional Dimensions:

  • Refresh Process SOPs/WIMs/Process Checklists with recent process changes quarterly.
  • Actively participate in 1 Community of Practice (CoP) session quarterly, contributing to content and delivering process training to Client Sourcing/End User Community.
  • Ideate and implement 1 Process Improvement/Automation/Re-engineering initiative (E2E) bi-annually.
  • Undertake 2 Adhoc Reporting tasks within Sourcing Support and Contracts admin function.


Qualifications


Essential:

  • - Relevant graduate degree.

  • Preferred:
  • Procurement and/or Sourcing Certification.
  • Process improvement certification.


Experience Required


Essential

  • Sound knowledge of SAP (all modules) and Ariba platforms.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, specifically in areas such as Procurement Sourcing and Contracting processes.
  • Must have worked in a client-facing environment for at least 3 years.


Preferred:

  • Process improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma methodologies).
  • Exposure to Automation technology.
