Overview:


Johari Rotana is actively seeking dynamic and self-motivated professionals in the Food and Beverage industry to join our team. We are currently recruiting for the position of Outlet Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant and bar operations. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong leadership skills and a commitment to achieving departmental targets while upholding the highest standards of service, in accordance with company policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and ensure excellent customer service, adhering to hotel standards to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Identify training needs and implement training plans to maintain service standards.
  • Plan and conduct monthly on-and-off job training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and uphold service standards.
  • Participate in daily briefings or meetings, ensuring effective communication within the team to address guest inquiries.
  • Engage in promotional activities to drive outlet sales, create new promotions, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare duty rosters according to forecasted requirements to ensure adequate operational manpower.
  • Evaluate team performance and initiate promotions or internal transfers as needed.
  • Resolve guest complaints directly or consult with the restaurant manager to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Train staff on personal grooming standards and monitor weekly checklists to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring upkeep of service equipment as per hotel standards.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to prioritize the health and safety of guests and employees, as well as environmental conservation.
  • Adhere to hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.


Education, Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Degree in hospitality preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Food and Beverage Department of a hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literate; previous experience with Opera is advantageous.
