As a Software Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding software projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will encompass team leadership, client presentations, project proposals, and meticulous project oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, executives, and software developers to discuss project possibilities and parameters.
- Develop comprehensive project blueprints, defining scope, resource allocation, deadlines, communication strategies, and testing and maintenance protocols.
- Assemble and lead a proficient project team.
- Actively participate in and oversee all project phases, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Establish and manage project budgets to optimize resource allocation.
- Implement rigorous testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting procedures at all stages of project development.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
- Serve as a vital liaison, facilitating effective communication regarding project updates, milestones achieved, and other pertinent information.
- Deliver finalized software products to clients and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Development Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record in project management and software development.
- Proficient in project estimation techniques.
- Excellent technical acumen.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Keen attention to detail and adept at multitasking.
