IT Business Partner Opportunity at HR World Ltd 2024
ROLE: IT BUSINESS PARTNER
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
HR World Ltd, representing a distinguished client, is seeking an IT Business Partner to ensure the seamless alignment of the IT Department's operations with the organization's business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee the IT portfolio of the company or business unit.
2. Develop the IT strategy aligned with business plans and create the department's annual budgets.
3. Serve as a liaison between the IT Department and other business units, emphasizing optimal user experience.
4. Analyze business requirements in collaboration with local teams to determine ERP and technology needs, coordinating with Group IT for ecosystem understanding.
5. Manage and coordinate various IT projects, including testing of application change requests and products.
6. Procure efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software, optimizing the entire lifecycle of IT assets.
7. Inspect the use of technological equipment and local software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
8. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and implement them in line with business requirements.
9. Develop and control the IT budget, providing expenditure reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- IT certifications such as CCNA, ITIL.
- Registration with the Computer Society of Tanzania is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing setup or related field.
- A minimum of five years in a senior role in a dynamic and complex IT environment.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Business processes, specifically SAP S4HANA ERP.
